    First thing you will notice is, This Fly Rod Is Beautiful. Any fiberglass loyal fisherman will definitely be in fly rod heaven with this one. From the thread wrappings to the ferrules and hook keeper, everything has been done with a completely professional attitude. Everything was done as if the builder had made this one for his or her self, perfectly neat and clean. A nice touch that could easily be overlooked is the integrated measuring tape that just seems to blend in to the background. Both ends of the cork handle has an extra tough rubberized cork material used so the handle will stay looking good for many a year. The only thing that I have against it is the cork used for the main part of the handle. They could definitely have used a better grade of cork than something that was simply adequate. The handle looks like any other handle that you would find on any low cost fishing pole and that is the problem. If Eagle Claw would just have used a higher grade of cork material then a person would never know that this pole was not a rod costing hundreds of dollars. Over all I believe this fly rod would make any fisherman proud to own it. Now do what I did, buy one for yourself and a second for a friend.

    Bought for my 11 year old son. Surprising quality and great look. He''s happy and Dad didn''t have to spend a fortune. I''m tempted to buy one for me. Great, great value.
